Insight Matters Psychotherapy & Counselling is an organisation of experienced and highly qualified Psychotherapists and Counsellors.
We offer you a wide range of therapies that include Person-Centred Counselling, Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Psychoanalysis, depending on your need and preference.
Our therapists and counsellors provide you a safe environment in which issues and concerns across a broad spectrum can be explored, understood and resolved, including: trauma; stress; anxiety; phobia; sexuality (LGBTQ), gender identity, bereavement; depression; confidence; addiction; self-esteem; eating disorders and relationship difficulties.
In addition to Dublin City Centre, we also have Psychotherapists and Counsellors in North and South Dublin. All our therapists are sensitive to issues of race, gender and sexual orientation and are drawn from all sectors of the community.
Our Team
All psychotherapists and counsellors at Insight Matters are qualified practitioners and working towards accreditation of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) They have undergone extensive training and are committed to their continual professional development. Each practitioner receives ongoing professional clinical supervision.
Our Approach
Our therapeutic approach is humanistic and integrative in nature. It includes Person-Centred, Cognitive-Behavioural and Psychodynamic styles of therapy among many others.
The approach of therapy is based on the individual needs of the client, which are discussed during the initial call and assessment.
Meet the Manager
Anne Marie Toole - BSc. Counselling & Psychotherapy, Dip. Psychology, Dip. Addiction Studies, Dip. Counselling & Psychotherapy.
Anne Marie Toole is the Founder and Director of Insight Matters Psychotherapy & Counselling.
Anne Marie initially trained in Psychology and Addiction Studies in 2006 and went on to complete a four-year degree in counselling and psychotherapy. She offers both long-term psychotherapy and short-term counselling. She works with individuals age 16 and over, seeking help for depression, stress and anxiety, sexuality, gender identity, self-esteem, confidence, isolation and discrimination, among many others. Anne Marie is an affiliate member of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.
