Thermostatic Radiator Valves
Thermostatic radiator valves are fitted to radiators to effectively control the temperature output of the radiator based on the air temperature in the room. The benefits to fitting Thermostatic Radiator Valves is two-fold, firstly you can control the temperature in individual rooms - so your rooms are not too hot or too cold, but just right to your preference. The second benefit is the savings your will make on your heating bills as the radiators will be on for less time but keeping your rooms at a constant set temperature.
Does The System Need Balancing?
Setting up and balancing the system means adjusting all the various thermostatic valves, thermostats (including the boiler thermostat) and the pump speed to give the desired temperature in each room for the least energy use. Doing this is a way to maximise the efficiency of the system plus save money and energy whilst helping the environment at the same time.
