Monaghan Lithuanian Community and Zumba Monaghan Charlene present Zumba to help kids with Down Syndrome Friday 8 p.m. St Joseph Parish Pastoral Centre, Market Road, Monaghan.
THE FUNDS raised during the events will be given to these organisations in Lithuania and Ireland:
Down Syndrome Association in Laois (Ireland)
St. Paul Special School, Dublin (Ireland)
Organization for People with Down Syndrome and Their Custodians Association (Lithuania)
Association Different Child for Autistic Children (Lithuania).
We chose those organisations because we wish to create awareness about key issues effective the lives of people with intellectual disabilities and issues related to still existing problem of social exclusions of such people in society.
