Our client based in Dublin 8 require a Health and Safety/ Stock Administrator for an immediate start for a 12 month contract.

This role specifically addresses execution of the Compliance strategy within a busy logistics business area. Role also requires that our customers suppliers and supplier sites comply with Customer’s compliance agenda.

The role covers all of our customers Logistics operations on the island of Ireland including all third party depots.

Ensure that all staff are fully supported in adhering to all Health & Safety responsibilities
Drive operational efficiencies in the following areas: Facilities Layout and Space Utilization, Design of Work Processes, Resource Planning, Information Systems and To extend lessons and standards created to other locations.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

•Work with the Compliance manager developing and implementing a comprehensive Compliance Plan, encompassing H&S, Quality, Food Safety, Business Risk and Environment
•New and improved management systems developed to ensure continuous improvement particularly in priority areas identified by the function and the wider business.
•Deliver risk and control effectiveness audits that provide assurance on the effectiveness of risk management and control procedures.
•Clear compliance KPI’s developed, measured and improvement targets agreed with key stakeholders.
•Work closely with the customers governance team to ensure alignment between both departments in the areas of H&S, Quality, Business Risk and Environment.
•Working with the Onsite logistics team managing stock and stock deployment around the Island or Ireland.
•Working with the Logistics team to develop and maintain KPI’s.
•Develop and maintain best in class standards for the customers logistics and H&S operation on site


Qualifications & Skills

•Formal H&S qualification.
•Third level qualification would be preferable.
•Well-developed knowledge of HACCP, QMS, Hygiene, Environmental standards, and legislative standards.
•In depth knowledge of Supply Chain operations (internal and contracted) and related processes.
•Experience of Change Management particularly cultural change programmes.
•High level of diagnostic and problem solving skills in a production/logistics environment across quality, H&S and environmental incidents
•Team building, people development and motivational skills.
•Proven Communication Skills, track record of influencing others to deliver business objectives
