This is unique project initiated by Lithuanian Ambassador in Ireland, to represent Lithuania as a basketball country for Ireland, also one part of huge Lithuania marketing campaign for upcoming European Championship 2011, hosted in 7 biggest cities of Lithuania.
Basketball Ireland and EFBL decided to participate in this project, where born idea to organise annual basketball event called Ambassador Cup. This year men`s Superleague Champions "Killester" Basketball Club will meet "Lithuanian XL" team, created from all EFBL teams, who was playing in 2010 / 2011 season.
"This event is first step in Basketball Ireland and EFBL cooperation in nearest future", said members of BI.
EFBL board inviting every Lithuanian Basketball Fan to participate in event, support our Lithuanian XL team, do not forget Basketball Fans equipment, flags, good mood, and show how much we care about basketball !
