Dear Colleagues of Herbal Medicine,
I'm not often up in auld Dublin these days so wanted to let you all know I'm giving a talk on Ayurvedic Medicine on Saturday December 7th at 7-9pm upstairs at Govinda's on Middle Abbey Street. This one is a little different to my herbally talks and workshops. It will focus on the basics of Ayurveda; how to recognise your Ayurvedic dosha.. Vata, Pitta & Kapha; what balances and imbalances we see in each dosha on a mental, emotional and physical level and how to balance your dosha's by understanding each dosha's aggravations and by using foods and medicinal herbs. It's a fun talk that gives you an insight to your individual constitutional type. I have given this talk to different types of practitioners who have found it useful using constitutional reading in their practice to better understand and treat their clients. It's €5 in. Some people are also meeting at Govinda's restaurant beforehand for a quick bite to eat.
I've attached an Ayurvedic dosha questionnaire which is good to have filled in before coming along to get the most out of the talk. A flyer is also attached.
