The 6th annual Burren Slow Food International Festival features gourmet chefs from great local restaurants using local ingredients for demonstrations including Sheedys Restaurant, Wild Honey Inn, Hotel Doolin and Kai in Galway.
The Farmers Market will offer fantastic local produce with members from Ballyvaughan, Doolin & Ennistymon Farmers Market setting up stalls.
Try some seaweed foraging with Irish SeaVeg; beer tasting with the Burren Brewery; listen to traditional Irish music sessions in local pubs; see Burren Ecotourism Network events; and enjoy the Sunday food talk with Sally & John McKenna's Guides on Food Production in Coastal Regions; as well as a Sunday walk in the Burren. The little ones can enjoy the children's cookery classes.
This is a great family event showcasing Clare food products to a local, national and international audience in the Burren area and has previously been supported by Darina Allen, McKenna Guides, Donal Skeehan and Clodagh McKenna.
