The beauty of the picturesque twin towns of Killaloe & Ballina awaits you during the 20th annual Féile Brian Ború. As it is the birthplace of Brian Ború, Ireland's Greatest High King is commemorated in style!
With a huge programme of events with something to suit everyone, this festival is the perfect getaway for a family filled event of fun and entertainment. It is also another milestone on the road to huge celebrations in 2014!
Come along and enjoy events which celebrate the area's history and heritage, such as historical walks, boat trips and historical re-enactments; arts and culture, such as the Art Trail and children's art competitions; music and entertainment, including traditional Irish music and dance and a range of traditional and contemporary concerts; children's events and workshops, such as musical workshops, parade preparation workshops and the colourful children's street parade; family events, including wonderful street theatre and a stunning fireworks display over the River Shannon; sporting events, including the Dragon Boat races, the Shannon Swim and Tag Rugby, and events for the animal lover, including Nutts for Mutts dog show and a wonderful display by Animal Magic.
