Comprehensive regeneration is much more effective than buying a second-hand one.
You can never prove a second-hand turbine to be 100% operational. There will always be a certain level of uncertainty.
Driving a car with an inefficient turbocharger (eg. when the blades of the turbocharger are jamming) is risky. Power may suddenly drop eg. during overtaking which will make it impossible to finish the maneuver in a swift manner.
Replacing a turbocharger is a complicated job. Doing it in a garage that offers a professional service will pay off. If it is not done properly, any extra replacement means your time and money wasted.
