Leaders letter
Hi everybody,

Tomorrow's walk sees us back at the Lead Mine (GR 099 982) for a 7.45am start walking into the hills. This is the walk on the schedule for last week: the change of plan is simply that we are still one week behind and I hope to start walking at 7:45 - otherwise, tomorrow's outing is as originally threatened.

The plan is to go up Camaderry, down to the footbridge over the Glenealo, up Lugduff, across the Lugduff ridge and down to the Avonbeg for lunch and on to Caimin, Table Track and Conavalla - all of which we did previously last month.

However, instead of coming back via Lough Firrib, this Saturday I plan to take a longer route back, along the Lugduff Ridge, down to the Glenealo, up Camaderry and then back to the cars. We came back that way the first day - but we will have covered a lot more ground and gained a lot more height next Saturday by the time we get to that final stretch.

The weather conditions are expected to be better than they were on the previous occasions we were out - apologies for that: I don't expect rain, but of course we have to be ready for it if it comes.
See you tomorrow,
